Error message: Assertion failed from Yamaha PSR 2100

Hello,

My name is Blaise Pascal, and I own a Yamaha PSR 2100, which suddenly stopped working.

It displays the following error message:

Assertion failed !
condition : 0
file : ¥src¥hisydwn. c
line : 133
TLB Miss (read)!!
Param: H'8C1773FO

Please can any one tell how to troubleshoot it?

This seems to be a Yamaha inherent problem....maybe Yamaha should look into it coz quite a few ppl have had this problem....

This is a chip level or motherboard problem.....u need a service tech to replace it.....sorry... its gonna cost a bit

Hallo!
This Assertion failed... error is a beginning of a deep hardware problem. Only with motherboard replace or chip change will help. No more switch on/off to prevent the largest burn.
If you have a bad psr2000 or psr2100, please contact me. I will service or buy your faulty instrument. Mail : szelepi "at" isis-com "dot" hu
