downloading the user songs from the Yamaha YPG 625

How do I download the user songs from the YPG 625 to my PC/flash memory and retain the performance data. I can get the song onto a flash drive but no performance data, so during playback on the PC it sounds out of time and no effects or sustain. I have gone through the manual and followed the step by step instructions with no success. The manual is somewhat lacking in this area. Please help.
