Hi guys, Had been having trouble finding a windows 7 driver for the DGX 505. In the end, just downloaded a driver from a newer model keybaord... the windows 7 driver for those keyboards WORKS FINE WITH THE 505!

This has been a nightmare, but after some 3 different Yamaha pages of DGX505 drivers, this one finally loaded. Several OS options available.

I tried conecting my 505 to an xp driver and was unable, so i used an alt way with a cheep line/usb software & hardware. I still had fun with it on my lite ableton 7,my lite dj cue was great. Anyhow im lookin towards using vista i feel the odds are pretty dam good things will be good any how if you really want to hook up to pc buy a decent interface and a compatable software program 4 recording editing fun & werk. Over all pc studio can be fun & its a small price to pay compared to the cost of setting up a 20th centery studio. AND MY dgx-505 portable grand keyboard ROCKS.

I have the DGX-505, also and a PC studio. I can't hook up my keyboard to my Digital Audio Workstation, because there is no driver for Vista. I called Yamaha and spoke to Tech Support. He said that they are NOT working on a driver for the DGX-505 to work ina Vista environment.

I guess I'll sell it and buy from a manufacturer who doesn't sell product that is outdated!!
