Connecting a YDP213 to a YPT300

Is is possible to connect a digital piano(YDP213) to a keyboard (YPT300) top have access to the keyboard sounds while playing on the piano? I have two MIDI cables and tried to connect the IN from one to the OUT from the other but I cannot have the two talk to each other.
