Connect a USB drive to keyboard

by Alisha C
(Bourbonnais)

Is it possible to connect a USB (or similar item, i.e., flash drive, mp3 player, ipod or other external media player)and still play saved music on the keyboard?

My 3.5 floppy drive and disks are failing and proving to be unreliable over time.

USB instead of floppydrive
by: Dick Rector

Hello Alisha,

It would help a great deal to give an answer if you had mentioned what keyboard you are talking about.
But if your floppydrive is playing up you can change the drive for an USB-drive - that is a 100 floppy-emulator (simulator).
Send me your emailaddress and I will send you a zipfile with all the details.

Dick

Is there a set of instructions to help me with recording music as I play it?
Also can I use a USB Drive instead of a floppy?
