CONFIRM MY KEYBOARD YAMAHA PSR S 700

I have purchased a keyboard from trivandrum.model is yamaha psr s 700.In the back of panel it s typed as made in Indonesia and serial no is given as NCN XO3028.I to confirm it whether it is orginally made from yamaha company. I also want to know which all countries are having Yamaha keyboard manufacturing company.

Dear Joshy: I do not know in how many foreign manufacturing locations Yamaha produces its keyboards. Among them I've heard of China and Indonesia. You must realize that Yamaha is a "global" organization and as such will establish factories in countries which are able to provide overall good manufacturing costs, available labor,etc. They also probably have "factory trained" personnel who are responsible for Quality Control. You should not be overly concerned as to whether your unit is genuine. Keyboards are fairly complex machines for the unscrupulous to copy. Enjoy your purchase.
