CD Input to Tyros

by Shawn
(Sarasota, Florida, USA)

I have a Tyros 1 keyboard which takes 3.5" floppy for input/output. Is there a CD I/O device for on the market? My computer has only a CD device and therefore I can't write MIDI files which are available extra.

File transfer
by: Carlos Eric

Hi!
I had a similar problem. My older files were on Diskettes. I bought an external floppy disk player ($23.-), connected it to may laptop per USB, insert a FD and the drag and drop the files at the player's icon. If you're intention is only to transfer your files from the computer to your Tyros, I believe this is a very convenient option.
