Dear Mari: If you stll have the broken Cover, buy J.B Weld Epoxy and follow its instructions for repair. The Cover is generally located at the bottom of the keyboard and has no "Cosmetic" value. Another suggestion is to fit a piece of plastic about as thick as the original cover, sized so that it fits over the compartment by about 1/8" aall around. Glue one of the long edges to a piece of strong flexible tape which is in turn glued to the bottom of the keyboard to form a "hinge". Along the other long edge glue a piece of Velcro to form the opening side allowing battery changes when necessary. Post a comment as to how you solved this problem. Thanks and good luck.
