Arpeggio Left Hand Only

Arpeggio Left Hand Only

I would like to play the Chords with the left hand with arpegio, but play the melody with the right hand non-arpegio style, is this possible, if so, how do I do this?

Hi Missy,

Not so clear to me what you want to do and you didn't mentioned the keyboard type.
As you know, some styles do play arpeggio's in the left hand because they are 'created' that way.
If you mean you want to play appergio's yourself with the left hand while a (non-arpeggio) style is playing the answer is no, not possible as far as I know, because the finger-setting will play the related accords and follow the keys you are pressing.

Thanks...sorry I forgot to mention I have a YPT400...I just want the chords to play as an arpeggio and then be able to play the melody with my right hand...I had hoped using the split function would take care of this, but when I use the split function, I get the arpeggio still on the right hand, but just a regular chord on the left. I think I may have to go another route to get a rhythmic chord on the left hand and melody on the right...The keyboard has soooo many functions, I guess I need to keep practicing! Once again thanks for your help!
